Gintama is over however, I haven't seen The Final movie YET but even without seeing it I'm over here crying over trailers since I love this series sooo much and One Piece as well any time soon in 5 yrs possibly ending which already thinking about is sad but I expect a world shattering war with every person they met will unite to fight with Luffy which is what we are already seeing with Gintama so watch Gintama and read Digital colored One piece manga it's amazing don't cheat yourself out of masterpieces they're both long but classics. The world building and how everyone some how is connected is sick I love this aspect with both shows bringing characters back from the past. The whole aspect of nakama and crewmates ride and die for your family which is always welcomed (read the digital colored version of the manga) because it has obviously better pacing and stunning visuals. ![]() Now I watched Gintama first but because of Gintama I decided to check out One Piece this year and so should you *cough. If you love the characters, the randomness, common humor, you'll surely love both series! Without a doubt, SKET Dance is the modern-campus-life Gintama! Oh, and both ran in Shonen Jump, so both have the common themes of "friendship, hard work, and victory". Both Sket Dance and Gintama are parody anime's (shows that make fun of other forms of media. Both have a protagonist who seems like a good-for-nothing but really cares about his friends, and both sometimes stop the hilarious comedy for a serious or really sad episode. Both Sket Dance and Gintama are gag series about people trying to help each other. Gintama's famous randomness can also be seen in SKET Dance. Both series parody other anime series, as both main protagonists are very well conscious of their status as main character (and both don't want to be outdone by other characters). Third, Gintama and SKET Dance have similar comedy and sense of humor. Second, both groups are composed of three members (exclude the pets) with similar characteristerization: one leader figure, one freakishly strong female, and one Glasses (megane) character. First, the very purpose of the Yorozuya and SKET-dan are the same: they do anything for their clients. Watch it bro, do a favor for yourself and humanity.Įdited with a slightly better engrish :] read more The story behind Gin-san and his friends in the past, war and stuff. One of the best shady-plots-behind-the-story I have ever seen Shit get pretty serious before you know it, sometimes end serious but always in a comedy way Nice set here too, each opening is better than the other, 9/10 Insanely funny, unique and charismatic characters Do favors for money but ends doing it just to help their friends Very nice and complex plot behind all that comedy A funny story gets serious in a minute but ends in a comedy anyway They always get in trouble but manage to fix it in a funny way Nice set of openings, endings and OSTs 9/10 You cannot watch a single episode and dont laugh or cry, or both (me every episode). Well, its pretty much a insane Sket Dance in the good old days It's just the second best anime you gonna watch in your life, One Piece is the first ofc. Padoru Padoru is a japanese onomatopoeia for the clopping noise of reindeer hooves.Mang, if you didnt watch this yet, gtf out of here and go watch At one point in the game, a main character, Nero Claudius, goes around singing her own modified version of Jingle Bells which ends in the words Padoru Padoru. On December 13th, 2018, Redditor Emiya_desu explained the meme: It's a meme from the video game Fate/Extra.
